Extended Stay America Suites- San Diego - Fashion Valley

My stay at this hotel was honestly a mix of good and bad. When I first arrived, the place didn’t really match the photos online. The outside area wasn’t very clean, there was no breakfast even though the website said it was included, and things overall just felt a bit different from what I expected. But what made my stay better was Beatriza. She helped me so much and made sure I was taken care of. Room 111 ended up being the best part of the whole stay. It was super cozy, comfortable, and had that home-like feeling I really liked. thanks to Beatriza, my experience ended up being way better than it started.

The Extended Stay America Suites (Fashion Valley) overall is the one place you may be interested if you're planning on going there, or possibly not based on the comments I saw only to the most recent. A manager name Raffi is an understanding and friendly individual despite his dumb appearance. The only positive I wanted to thank to is a housekeeper servant named Maria who had my remaining stuff that I had forgotten to bring as I was transferring to another room from the first day of February as the apartment where my father and I lived in was going to be completed as it was in repairs after the molding was eliminated back in early January 2026. If it wasn't for her, I would be under stress for the fact that my important items were to be sent to trash. She deserved a raise, along with another housekeeper who did the room 301 (the former where we were in), and of course a guy name John who not only fixed the air conditioner and changing the tv to have normal colors (and a bonus for high definition quality) in room 301, but also fixing two other problems, the bathtub and the kitchen sink, in room 208 (where my father and I were currently at). Although, each room of the hotel like room 301 and 208 (both on the first floor) should require an upkeep and updating maintenance, including the tv which had blue screen back when I was in room 301, and the tv in room 208 needs subtitles. Actually, every television should have Spanish channels aside from Univision, which is the only channel only my father can watch, but the rest of the channels should have added more and adding Spanish as a secondary language for future guests who are applying to the hotel suite.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel and couldn’t be happier with the experience. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, and the amenities made the stay feel truly relaxing. The location was perfect and made getting around super easy.I especially want to shout out Beatriz, who went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. She was incredibly kind, professional, and always willing to help with a smile. Her attention to detail and genuine care really stood out and made me feel welcomed from start to finish. Because of the outstanding service especially from Beatriz. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great experience.

The room we had was nice, very spacious and clean. There was only coffee no muffins or other breakfast items as advertised. The room comes with a 2 burner cook top, microwave and a full size refrigerator. However, you have to pre-order the kitchen supplies to use, so unless you know that ahead of time all the amenities are pointless, but I was able to make my microwave popcorn. Staff at check in and check out were polite and friendly. I was only there for one night but would definitely recommend.

I do not live around the area here But I chose to stay at this hotel. Had the best service experience soon as I walked through the front door , with welcoming greetings and she took care of me. I believe her name was Beatriz. She was amazing, good attitude, very patient & helpful. She sure knows how to treat guests. Definitely needs a promotion. thank you Beatriz & extended stay!

I needed hotel for the night only and it served its purpose quite well. Room was in fine sanitary conditions for what it was. Breakfast was just a grab and go, unlike your typical sit-down at other locations. If you’re looking for something that offers more look elsewhere, but for a night or two this place serves its purpose.

It was a pleasure working with Ricky and Shams for a busy Valentine’s Day weekend reservation. We had a little hiccup in the reservation, but they were so wonderful with their help in an already stressful week. They made sure my room was ready for us in a timely manner. We would definitely recommend this location. It’s safe and quiet and clean.

Shams and Rafi were the 2 gentlemen I had the pleasure of meeting.Rafi checked me in.He was knowledgeable, very professional. ( I could tell this wasn't his first rodeo )Explained everything,I felt like I was in good hands.( Allstate eat ur heart out )Shams was equally helpful.gave me fresh towels when askd.( Indeed living up to.their moto, home away from home ).Needed a toaster,skillet, again came thru.Would recommend to friends, family..
